Abstract
Git-style version control and collaboration for design files — bring engineering workflows to design
Product Overview
Abstract is a version control and collaboration platform for design files, modeled after Git workflows used in software engineering. It tracks every change to design files, supports branching and merging for parallel exploration, and provides code review-style feedback on design changes. Features include Git-inspired branching and merging, visual diff of design changes, file management and organization, design review with comments and annotations, team permissions and access control, and integrations with Sketch and Figma. Acquired by Miro in 2023 and later integrated into Miro's platform, it remains the reference implementation for design version control.
